Cultural Olympiad plans unveiled
London 2012 has announced its plans for the Cultural Olympiad, the four-year programme designed to showcase the UK’s arts and culture to the rest of the world in the run up to the 2012 Games. Read more
More than half the UK workforce would use a right to ask for training at workOver 70 per cent of working people would like to see a new legal right to request paid time off for training and 53 per cent say they would be likely to use it, according to a new YouGov survey released by the TUC and unionlearn, its learning and skills organisation.
